Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 9/12/2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PawPartner services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
2. Services
PawPartner provides a marketplace connecting pet owners with pet care workers for services including pet sitting, dog walking, poop scooping, yard rental, and boarding.
3. Worker Requirements
All workers must complete a background check ($29.99 fee) before accepting jobs. Workers set their own rates based on their certifications and experience.
4. Cancellation Policy
A 50% cancellation fee applies when cancelling within 12 hours of the scheduled appointment. Cancellations made more than 12 hours in advance are free.
5. Payment Terms
Workers receive payment every Wednesday (regular payday). Daily cash-out is available for a $2.00 processing fee. The affiliate bonus of $45 is paid after completing 15 jobs within the first 4 weeks.
6. Nonprofit Donation
PawPartner donates 10% of the service fee from each user's first scheduled appointment to pet nonprofit foundations.
7. GPS Tracking
GPS tracking is active during in-progress services. By using our services, both pet owners and workers consent to location tracking during active appointments.
8. Independent Contractors & Insurance
All workers on the WagGather platform are independent contractors, not employees or agents of WagGather. Workers are solely responsible for carrying their own health, liability, and any other required insurance. WagGather does not provide workers with health insurance, workers' compensation, or any employment benefits. Workers are free to set their own rates, choose their own clients, and determine their own methods of service delivery.
9. The WagGather Platform Guarantee
Important: The WagGather Platform Guarantee is a contractual marketing promise and a secondary reimbursement program — it is NOT insurance.
The Platform Guarantee acts as a secondary reimbursement program that supplements, but does not replace, the pet owner's private insurance. WagGather retains sole discretion over all payout approvals, claim eligibility, and reimbursement amounts. No payout is guaranteed, and all claims are subject to review and approval by WagGather in its sole discretion.
How It Works
- Pet Owner's Private Insurance Pays First. The pet owner or their private insurance carrier is the primary payer for any claim.
- WagGather Platform Guarantee Covers the Gap. If the primary insurance is exhausted, denied, or a deductible applies, the Platform Guarantee may reimburse the remaining amount up to the stated limits, subject to the deductible below.
The Deductible
A deductible of $250 to $500 applies to each claim, payable by the pet owner or the worker before the Platform Guarantee reimburses any amount. This deductible is intended to eliminate small or frivolous claims and preserve the program's sustainability.
Coverages
- Veterinary Reimbursement: Up to $5,000 per incident for acute injuries to a pet sustained while in a worker's care during a confirmed booking. Coverage is limited to acute injuries (e.g., dog bites, being struck by a vehicle) and explicitly excludes pre-existing conditions, illnesses, or non-acute conditions (e.g., kennel cough, digestive upset, anxiety).
- Third-Party Property Damage: Up to $2,000 per incident for physical damage to a homeowner's property caused by a worker during a confirmed booking.
Key Exclusions
The Platform Guarantee does not cover:
- Injury to the worker. Workers are independent contractors and must carry their own health insurance.
- Direct theft of high-value items (cash, jewelry, electronics) unless a police report has been filed and a conviction is obtained.
- Damage caused by natural disasters or acts of God occurring during the booking.
- Any claim that does not meet the deductible threshold.
- Any claim arising from a booking not confirmed through the WagGather platform.
Claims & Sole Discretion
All claims must be submitted through WagGather within 72 hours of the incident. WagGather retains sole and absolute discretion over the approval, denial, and amount of any payout under the Platform Guarantee. The Platform Guarantee is a marketing promise and not an insurance product, and nothing in these Terms shall be construed as creating an insurance contract or an obligation to pay. WagGather may modify, suspend, or terminate the Platform Guarantee at any time without prior notice.
10. Modifications
WagGather reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
